About N-audio – The Story Behind the Brand

Founded by Nikolay Hristov, N-audio combines over 25 years of experience in electronics with a passion for both music and engineering. Each N-audio product is designed and built in Bulgaria, reflecting Nikolay’s commitment to high standards and solid craftsmanship. Drawing on his background in electronic design, N-audio develops reliable, high-quality audio equipment tailored to the real needs of musicians and audio professionals.

Professional Journey and Collaborations

Nikolay’s career began as an engineer at the Bulgarian National Radio, where he built a strong foundation in electronics. Building on this experience, he went on to launch the N-audio brand, focused on designing and producing high-quality guitar effects and professional audio equipment. Alongside N-audio, Nikolay spent several years working as a PCB and 3D designer for the Swedish company EBS, further refining his skills in electronic and product design. Over the years, N-audio has also established a trusted partnership with Schneider Electric, collaborating on custom industrial controllers for their manufacturing plants. This collaboration highlights N-audio’s expertise in industrial electronics and demonstrates its ability to deliver reliable solutions beyond the music industry.

Why Amp Switcher?

Over the years, through countless conversations with professional musicians, I recognized a clear need for amp cabinet switchers that deliver excellent performance while remaining intuitive, reliable, and suitable for professional use. Although many amp switcher solutions already existed, there was room for meaningful improvement and innovation.

With this in mind, I chose to focus on amp cabinet switchers, refining existing concepts and introducing practical enhancements. The goal has always been to offer genuinely useful features for musicians, while maintaining pricing that delivers real value.
